Plant Vision’s centralized database facilitates tag searching to quickly see results for drawings and connected objects in a single panel. Users can easily move between drawings, the P&ID and related views. Drawing indexes, tag formats, various styles and types of nomenclature have been developed to assist users in finding project items.
Plant Vision’s tag search option provides users a way to quickly find a tag and view all related documents, drawings and connections where the tagged element appears.
Tag Search Reporting
Plant Vision includes the right tools to generate outputs for your reporting needs. Reports can be printed and distributed throughout the project team.
Plant Vision’s powerful search engine streamlines the model validation review process. Whether searching for a specific tag, or by using a “wild card” search, you will save time when searching for information compared to using traditional methods.
Simply by clicking on a specific element or by searching a specific tag the dashboard will display related documents and drawings for a list of errors on a particular element or object or for the entire project.

Dynamic Elements drill down
Some of the elements interpreted from Plant 3D documents are translated to Plant Vision dynamically. These elements include off-page connectors, which are clickable to allow for easy drawing navigation. -
Related Document Searching
When performing searches on a tag, the list of drawings displayed are clickable, which allows users to quickly jump from one drawing to another. -
Element Searching
When jumping drawings, Plant Vision will zoom and highlight the associated tagged element for ease of use. You will no longer need to manually search for an element.
